Crocodile buddies

This was not an easy recipe to tackle this month, but still there were a few real adventurers, armed with dough scrapers, flour and perseverence that started this journey to catch themselves a croc or two. With different end results, just as we all had different crocs.

-Ulrike from Küchenlatein, caught the crocs with manitoba and durumflour, and are those wonderful loaves or what!

-Gretchen Noelle from Canela & Comino, proofs that also in Peru are great crocs to be caught, hats (with corks dangling down) off to you.

our last adventurer had some set backs:
-Joanna from Joanna's food, so though she didn't return with a croc, she's been bitten by the croc-bug and I'm sure she'll catch one for sure in the future. Good luck Joanna!

All the babes thank you for baking with us on this croc adventure, well done!

If you have any questions about our group and how to become a Bread Baking Buddy with us, you can read all about it here at Tanna's and here at Mary's, who'll be hostess of the month may. Yes I know there'll be one in april too, but if you want to participate in may, you'll need to start a sourdough starter. You can read all about how to do that on Mary's blog.
We hope to see you again next time we're baking!! G'day mates!

Voor de Nederlandse uitleg hoe je deze zuurdesemstarter moet maken kan je HIER terecht, Bedankt Karen voor deze uitgebreide uitleg, super!

Thanks for the round-up .... as you say, not many crocodile tamers, but I'm going to have another go later this week, so that I can feel I've earned my buddy badge ;)

This was a great pick and lots of fun to tackle. I would like to try it again soon! I have a few ideas and would like to see how they turn out. Thanks so much for being the kitchen of the month for March!

I'm so sorry I missed this one, but I hope to bake along in April. What a project you all tackled!
